Can I ask a question?

How do I join the server?

My sound doesn't work. How can I fix it?

Try installing the sound patch on our downloads page. If you still can't hear Minecraft after that, make sure it's not muted in your computer's sound settings, and that sounds are turned up in your in-game audio settings. Still not working? Try listening to a YouTube video or some music to verify whether or not your computer's audio is working in general. If it is, but you still can't hear Minecraft, there might be something wrong with either your copy of Tekkit Classic, or your version of Java.

I found a bug on the server. Where can I report it?

I changed my Minecraft username, can my stuff be transferred?

Since Tekkit Classic uses Minecraft 1.2.5, which came out many years before name changes were added, both it and the vast majority of plugins do not support name changes. We have been working towards bridging the technological gap between old and new by adding UUID support to some of our plugins, allowing data to be transferred automatically when you change your username.
As of February 17, 2021, the following will be transferred automatically upon changing usernames: Playtime; CloudChest Contents.
Additionally, we will manually transfer the following things upon request: 'Donator' ranks (and associated claimblocks and balance); Land Claims.
If willing, staff may also transfer inventory and/or alchemy bag contents, however this is up to the staff member.

I was banned from the server and I don't know why.

The reason for your ban will be displayed when you attempt to join the server. If no reason was provided ("The Ban Hammer has Spoken!"), you are unsure of the meaning of the provided reason, or would like further clarification about your ban, you can contact us on our contact page.

Does the server have factions, towny, or skyblock?

No. This is a purely survival server. If desired, you can create towns using the land claiming system, either by having individual people claim their own plots, or creating a large plot them sub-dividing it using the /subdivideclaims command, then using real-estate signs, or manually trusting people to sub-plots as necessary.
