How to install:

  1. Download the desired texture pack file
  2. Start Tekkit Classic
  3. Go to the "Texture Packs" menu
  4. Click "Open Folder"
  5. Place the downloaded .zip file in the "texturepacks" folder
  6. Select the texture pack from the "Texture Packs" menu in-game

Note: These texture packs may be missing some textures.

How to install:

  2. Ensure that Tekkit Classic is not currently running
  3. Open your Tekkit Classic installation folder (See the bottom of the page for instructions), then go to the 'mods' folder
  4. Move the downloaded LumySkinPatch jar file to the 'mods' folder
  5. Launch Tekkit Classic

The Sound Patch fills in missing sound resources that sometimes fail to properly download with Tekkit Classic.

How to install:

  1. Download the sounds patch file
  2. Ensure that Tekkit Classic is not currently running
  3. Open your Tekkit Classic installation folder (See the bottom of the page for instructions)
  4. Move the "resources" folder from the Sounds_Tekkit_Classic.zip file into your Tekkit Classic folder and replace/overwrite any files if asked
  5. Launch Tekkit Classic

How to install:

  1. Download the Block Helper file
  2. Ensure that Tekkit Classic is not currently running

  5. Launch Tekkit Classic

Mouse Tweaks adds dragging items in inventories and crafting menus similar to how it is in Modern minecraft. Hold your right mouse button to place one of the item in each slot you pass over. Hold your left mouse button to quickly pick up items of the same type as you drag over them.

How to install:

  1. Download the mouse tweaks file
  2. Ensure that Tekkit Classic is not currently running
  3. Open your Tekkit Classic installation folder (See the bottom of the page for instructions)
  4. Unzip the "MouseTweaks_TekkitClassic3.1.2.zip" file into your Tekkit Classic folder; if prompted, select to merge the mouse tweaks 'mods' and 'config' folders with the existing folders
  5. Launch Tekkit Classic

Schematica provides visual tools to aid in exporting and rebuilding structures or parts of worlds. Schematic support for modded items may vary. Compatibility is not guaranteed.

  2. Ensure that Tekkit Classic is not currently running
  3. Open your Tekkit Classic installation folder (See the bottom of the page for instructions), then go to the 'mods' folder
  4. Move the downloaded Schematica jar file into the 'mods' folder
  5. Launch Tekkit Classic
  6. View or adjust controls for Schematica via the in-game controls settings menu

Launcher Method
On all system types, open the Technic Launcher, select Tekkit Classic, then Modpack Options, then open the Install Folder.
In-Game Method
Launch Tekkit Classic, open the Texture Packs menu, then use the "Open texture pack folder" button, then go up one level so you're in the 'tekkit' folder. You should see several folders such as 'bin', 'buildcraft', 'config', 'mods', and several others.
Manual Method
  • On Windows, you can open the run window by pressing the window's key and the R key at the same time, then enter '%appdata%\.technic\modpacks\tekkit' without the single quotes on the ends. That should take you to your Tekkit Classic installation folder.
  • On MacOS, it should be located at \Users\(Your Name)\Library\Application Support\technic\modpacks\tekkit
  • On Linux, it should be located at \Home\(Your Name)\.technic\modpacks\tekkit
